Blizzzzzzarts …

After the concert we checked out a few places in our search for Spencer Krug. We ended up at Blizzarts even though there is probably no way they’d let him in with his metaphors.

We ended up hanging with a birthday party.   I’m going to pretend to not remember the rest:

Sometimes Life Is Not A Road Trip

Sometimes it’s a train trip and a plane trip. 3000 miles to see a band and hang out with your buddy that you haven’t seen in 6 months.
But it still feels like a road trip. It has that familiar sting:

This is what happens when you disparage the Quebecois. They are a [...]

Day 6: When You Least Expect It …

It looked like it was going to be a quiet night for us, with most of Banff trying to deal with their St. Patty’s Day hangovers. We headed to the Rose and Crown for a pint and some billiards …

I’ll miss you, Banff. I will be back.

Bangers and Mash at St. James Gate – Banff

Yum. Nothing says breakfast more than bangers and mash.

This is the place we couldn’t get into last night… Love the skirts and knee-highs….

Road Trip: Makeover Edition Part 2

So Zoo decided to go black again today… and eggplant is close, right? Still gets a NOT FAIL. It takes really bright light to reveal the real hue.

Day 5: Banff Nightlife … Penetration Achieved

When I lived in Banff in 2000, I came to love this place like almost no other place on earth. I remember crying when I left that spring for the last time. Part of it was the girl (Yes, Kaylee, you), part of it was the house (Gus, Guy, Christie, Eric, Krissy, Jane, [...]
